STEELEVILLE - Beulah Waltemate, 68, of Steeleville, passed away at 7:00 pm, Monday, September 9, 2013 at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Beulah was born in New Haven, IL on December 20, 1944, the daughter of Clifton and Georgia Lewis Durham. She married Willard Waltemate on September 13, 1965. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1991. She was a Homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Beulah is survived by her daughter, Donna Smith of Ste. Genevieve, MO; two sons, Steve Waltemate of Sparta, IL and Willard "Curley" Waltemate, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; five grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and two brothers, James Durham of Evansville, IN and Willard "Popeye" Durham of Shawneetown, IL. Beulah was also preceded in death by her Parents; two brothers; and one sister. Memorial service will be at 3:00 pm, Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Bruce Cameron officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 1 to 3 pm Friday. Memorials may be given to the Lupus Foundation or the Family.
