PERCY, Betty J. Ingram, 90, of Pinckneyville formerly of Percy, passed away at 11:45 AM Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville, Illinois. She was born September 3, 1925 in Long Beach, New Jersey the daughter of Earl and Ella (Worth) Spruill. Betty married Earl J. Ingram on August 23, 1948 in Neptune, New Jersey. Earl passed away on March 19, 1990. Betty was a homemaker and worked in the Fabric Department at Walmart in Sparta for many years. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Percy. Betty was a Cub Scout Den Mother in Percy and also a member of the Red Hat Society in Percy and Steeleville. She is survived by her sons: Jerry E. (Mary) Ingram, Marion, IL, Matthew Ingram, Farmington, MO and Michael Ingram, Colorado; daughter: Misty Biskner, Florida; 4 Grandchildren: Summer Rulevish, Joey Ingram, Caleb Ingram and Madeline Ingram; 1 Great Granddaughter: Shelby Rulevish. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Jeannie Davis and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM at United Methodist Church Percy, Illinois with Rev. Marvin "Bud" Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Percy on Tuesday where friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and then on Wednesday from 10 to 11am at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
