CUTLER - Betty I. Davis, 85, of Cutler, passed away at 9:25 am, Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Memorial Hospital in Chester. Betty was born in Cutler, Illinois on March 25, 1928, to her mother, Marie Stevenson Rednour and her step father, Shelby Rednour. She married William "Tom" Davis on December 20, 1947 in Cutler. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2012. Betty was a homemaker and was retired from Spartan Light Metals after 25 years. Betty is survived by her son, Gerald (Vicki) Davis of Tilden; her daughter, Judith (Jim) Caby of Baldwin, IL; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters, Bill and Joyce Rednour, Helen Larson and Ed, Everett and Sharon Rednour, Sue Boyer and Jim, Pat and Jerry Steck, and Wayne Rednour and Charlene. Betty was preceded in death by her mother; her step father; and a half brother, Shelby Ray. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday March 10, 2014 at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler with Rev. Curt Rabe officiating. Burial will follow in Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, Illinois. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm to 8 pm Sunday and on Monday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given to the Reformed Presbyterian Church.
