WILLISVILLE, Bertha Brown, 93, of Willisville, IL, passed away at 9:45 AM Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, Illinois. She was born July 2, 1922 in Pinckneyville, Illinois the daughter of William J. and Emma (Krmitzski) Offerman. Bertha married John Allen Brown on July 26, 1941 in Perryville, MO. He passed away on April 18, 1993. Bertha was retired from MCA at Pinckneyville as a tester. She is survived by her children: Shirley Upchurch, Peoria, IL, Carolyn (Jack) Brown, Steeleville, IL, Alice (Ray) Ehlers, Campbell Hill, IL and Debra (Donnie) Thies, Ava, IL; 4 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 sister, Anna Lee Simmons, Peoria, IL. Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 4 sisters. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cutler Cemetery, Cutler, Illinois with Debra Rathert, Lay Minister officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cutler Cemetery.
