SPARTA – Benjamen Slone, 30, of Sparta, passed away at 3:35 PM, Sunday, June 3, 2018, at this home in Sparta.
Benjamen was born on June 30, 1987, in Sparta the son of Dale and Elizabeth (Weinhoffer) Slone. He married Meagan Specogni, on May 17, 2013, in Chester. Ben was a self-employed mechanic and a member of the Community of Christ Church, in Sparta. He was an avid 4 wheeler rider and enjoyed his time at Coyote Trails in Coulterville.
He is survived by his wife; Meagan Slone, of Sparta, 1 son, 3 daughters; Taria, Olivida, and Sophia, all of Sparta. Ben is also survived by his mother; Elizabeth Bowen, of Ellis Grove, father; Dale Slone, of Sparta, and 1 sister; Abby Sieberg, of Sparta.
Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Coulterville Ballpark where friends may call from 4 to 8 PM. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with arrangements.
