CAMPBELL HILL – Barbara E. Lampe, 85, passed away at 7:15 am, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois.
Barbara was born on October 14, 1931, in Campbell Hill, Illinois, the daughter of Charles H. and Mae E. Isom Luehr. She married Marvin F. Lampe on August 25, 1950 at Campbell Hill, Illinois. Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, Illinois.
Barbara is survived by her husband Marvin F. Lampe; son's Gary Lampe of Campbell Hill, Don Lampe of Sparta, and Dale Lampe of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren Matthew Lampe, and Alissa (Jon) Mendenhall; and great granddaughter, Emma Mendenhall.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, Illinois with Rev. Alan Karnacki officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Campbell Hill. Visitation will be held at St Peter's Church, Campbell Hill, Saturday, where friends may call from 9 to 11 am.
