AVA – Barbara A. Beisner, 82, of Ava, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, IL.

Barbara was born January 31, 1939 in Ava, IL, to Keith A. and Virginia Dameron Nisbet.  She married Bobby L. Beisner on January 14, 1956 in Ava, IL.  He preceded her in death on September 16, 2005.  Barbara was a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Ava, IL.

Barbara is survived by her sons, William K. (Pamela) Beisner of Hardin, MT, and Bryan (Donna) Beisner of High Point, NC, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Shirley Nisbet of Ava, IL.

Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents, sons, Robert Dale and Brett, brother, Thomas A. Nisbet, and sister, Judy Oldham.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 9, 2021 at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL with Reverend Bob Spangler officiating.  Burial to follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL. Friends may call from 11 – 1pm.  Memorials may be given to Ava First Baptist Church and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
