STEELEVILLE, Arlene N. Picker, 87, of Steeleville, passed away at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Chester Rehab and Nursing Center in Chester, Illinois. She was born March 25, 1924 in Marissa, Illinois the daughter of Ira Glenn and Nina (Wilson) Glenn. Arlene married Harry M. Picker on Saturday, May 18, 1946 in Marissa, IL. Harry passed away on November 26, 2006. She is survived by her: daughter: Alice and Bill Knop, Steeleville, IL; 3 sons: Daniel and Debbie Picker, Steeleville, IL, Ronald Picker, Maryland Heights, MO, Mark Picker, Maryland Heights, MO; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers and two sisters. She was a retired Secretary from Steeleville School District. Arlene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Percy, IL. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois. Rev. Marvin "Bud" Bennett will be officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM . Memorials may be made to Passage Hospice or United Methodist Church in Percy, IL.
