SPARTA, Antony Ernst Heine, 91, of Sparta, passed away at 7:34 A.M. Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL. He was born September 14, 1917 in Steeleville, Illinois the son of Herman Heine and Ida (Koch) Heine. Antony married Edna Kraft on October 23, 1943 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL. Antony was a member of Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL and was a retired owner of Heine's Western Auto store in Sparta, IL. Mr. Heine is survived by his wife Edna Heine of Sparta, children: Rita and Michael Basco of Manchester, MO, Mary and Ron of McNutt of Mt. Carmel, IL; grandchildren: Gregory and Ana Basco of Guadalupe, Costa Rica, Teresa and Devon Hill of St. Louis, MO, Laura McNutt of Mt. Carmel, IL; great grandchildren: Joshua and Christopher Basco of Guadalupe, Costa Rica, Riley Hill of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Thomas Herman Heine, two brothers, August F. Heine and Harry A. Heine. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, IL. Rev. John Joyce will be officiating. Burial will be at Caledonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL on Monday from 5-7pm and then on Tuesday from 9:15 am until the hour of service.
