STEELEVILLE – Anna "Marie" Wettig, 94, of Steeleville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her home.

Anna Marie was born on October 24, 1930, in Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of John and Josephine (Ruffino) Bruno. She married Angelo Bruno on May 18, 1947, in Pinckneyville, IL, he preceded her in death on May 16, 1975. Anna Marie then married Arthur Wetting on March 20, 1976, in Pinckneyville, IL, and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2008. Anna Marie was a retired Coal Miner and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church – West Point.

Anna Marie is survived by her children: Margaret Degenhardt of Oakdale, IL, Angelo Bruno of Steeleville, IL, Cathy Crosby of Steeleville, IL, and Louis Bruno of Calsban, NM; her 7 Grandchildren, and eighteen Great Grandchildren, her brother, Peter Bruno of Pinckneyville, IL, and her sister, Margaret Padfield of Benton, IL.

Anna Marie was also preceded in death by her Parents, a Grandson and 5 Brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Immanuel Lutheran Church – West Point, Campbell Hill, IL. Burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery – West Point, Campbell Hill, IL. Visitation will be on Saturday morning where friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of service, at the church.
