CARBONDALE – Americus Madalynn Bryant was granted her angel wings on February 21, 2017. She was born on June 18, 2009 to Jennifer Bryant and John Turner. Americus was a second grader at Thomas Elementary School in Carbondale, IL. She was a social butterfly that always had a smile on her face and made friends with anyone she met. She loved to coupon with her mom, play with her papa Pete, have dance parties with her family, wrestle with her brother, and shop at Justice. She is survived by her mother; Jennifer Bryant, step father; Nickey Giacomo, sister and brother – in – law Portia and Kristopher Dunn, brother; Nathinyal Bryant, grandparents; Paula and Clifford Keelin, grandpa Pete Giacomo, momma Casey Chencey, niece; Sidnee Bryant, father; John Turner, step mother; Ashley Turner, sister; Nevaeh Turner, step sister; Paysley Jones, step brother; Tristian Jones, grandparents; Chris and Duane Jones, several aunts and uncles, several cousins, and several pets. She is preceded in death by her cousin; Taylor Laxton, god – niece; Angel Copling, great grandparent; Charles and Mary McGinness, grandma; Shirley Turner, and several aunts and uncles. She is being cremated and memorial services are pending with Wilson's Funeral Home, in Ava.
