PERCY Alvera L. Hornbostel, 85, of Percy, passed away at 1:28 A.M. Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Coulterville Care Center in Coulterville, IL. She was born November 11, 1923 in , Jackson County, Illinois, the daughter of Emil Dierks and Dina (Brelje) Dierks. She married Homer E. Hornbostel on December 21, 1946 at Campbell Hill, IL. He passed away April 20, 1984. She was retired from Spartan Printing Company, Sparta, IL. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL and also the Mississippi Valley Art Guild. She is survived by one son, Daniel Hornbostel of Chester; three daughters, Narda (Dave) Young of Percy, IL, Marita Hornbostel of Percy, IL, Nyla (Jerry) Rednour of Percy, IL; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one sister, Ruby Nagel of Campbell Hill, IL She was also preceded in death by Parents, one daughter, one son, one great grandson, two brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill with Rev. Mark Buetow officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Friday from 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday from 7:30 am until Noon and on Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill from 1 to 2 pm. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Memorial Fund.
