AVA – Allen O. Wilson, 43, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at his home in Ava, Illinois.

Allen was born on April 25, 1981, in Sparta, IL, the son of Prentiss and Alma Jean (Jones) Wilson. Allen was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served 2 tours in Iraq.

Allen is survived by his father and stepmother, Prentiss and Mary Wilson of Percy, IL, his siblings: Kristina L. Willmoth Speece of Paris, IL, Brad Willmoth of Percy, IL, Lori Willmoth- Newton of Ava, IL, John Wilson of Campbell Hill, IL, Aaron Wilson of Ava, IL; his stepbrothers: Chris Wingerter of Chester, IL, Marcus Wingerter of Broomfield, CO; his nieces and nephews:

Stevie, Holly, Camille, Andrea, April, RD, Brett, Audrey, Trey, Maddie, Aaron, Ian, Chloe, Michael, Mabry, Blake; and many great nieces and great nephews.

Allen was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Jean Wilson.

Allen's wishes were to be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be given to Marion VA – PTSD Care and can be mailed in c/o Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
