ST. LOUIS, Allegra Rubach, 83, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Campbell Hill, IL passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at her home in St. Louis, MO. Allegra was born July 26, 1927 in Campbell Hill, Illinois the daughter of Arthur Priebe and Ruth (Knop) Priebe. Allegra married Lee Vern Rubach on May 27, 1950 in St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak. Lee Vern preceded her in death on April 4, 1973. She was a member of the Lutheran Faith. Allegra worked as a CNA for over 30 years at the St. Louis University Hospital. She also worked for several years at the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Allegra is survived by one brother, William (Margie) Priebe of Campbell Hill; one sister, Barbara Priebe of Campbell Hill; one nieces, Debbie (Kevin) Smith of Campbell Hill; and one great niece, Chris (Matt) Davis of Ava. Allegra was also preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, West Point with Rev. Tim B. Zechiel officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, West Point.
