STEELEVILLE - Alberta L. Heinike, 89, of Steeleville, passed away at 7:45 pm, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta. Alberta was born October 19, 1923, in Steeleville, IL the daughter of John and Louise Uffelmann Heinike. She was a retired officer from First National Bank in Steeleville. Alberta was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Alberta is survived by one sister, Lydell Agrippino of Maryland Heights, MO; two nephews, John Hartmann of DuQuoin, IL and Roger Hartmann of Steeleville, IL; three nieces, Betty Qualls of Percy, May Rose of Chester and Alice McDaniels of Tulia, TX; one great niece; one great nephew; two great great nieces; and two great great nephews. Alberta was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Heinike; two sisters, Eleonora Hartmann and Aurelia Heinike; one infant niece; and one infant nephew. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday and on Saturday from 7:30 am until 1 pm. Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School or St. Mark's General Fund.
