AVA – Addilyn Dae Reiman, 12, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 11:00 pm, at
Cardinal Glennon Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Addi endured with grace and courage a long, brave, battle with Leukemia.
Addilyn was born on March 15, 2012, in Carbondale, Illinois, the daughter of Michael and Emily Boudet Reiman. Addi was a 6 th grade student at Trico Junior High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ava. Addi's faith in Her God was unshakeable and awe inspiring for her age. "She knew God was on the other side of this thing"
Addi will be remembered for her sassiness, quick wit, sense of humor and love for food. She loved her K9 family and all the four legged friends she had met along the way. Addi had a passion to create art and could see the true beauty in nature.
Addilyn is survived by her parents, Michael and Emily Reiman of Ava; sister, Leila Reiman of Ava; Paternal Grandparents, Roger and Debbie Reiman of Ava; Maternal Grandparents, Albert and Trish Boudet of Murphysboro; Aunt, Corrie (Mitch) Burdick of Murphysboro; Uncles, Robert (Nichole) Boudet of Elkville, IL and Jonathon Reiman of Ava; Cousin, Kelsey (Robert) Siegrist of Denver, CO; and many other loved Cousins, Friends, Extensive Cardinal Glennon Family, as well as Dr. Deepika Bhatla whom she shared a special bond.
Addilyn was preceded in death by her Cheerleader, Carrie Witthoft and Great Great Aunt Loretta Walker.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the Trico High School Auditorium in Campbell Hill, with Rev. Bob Spangler officiating. Burial will follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be in the auditorium on Saturday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The preferred form of remembrance are memorials to the Family.
